Chief Resident Meetings
The Goals of the Chief Resident Workshops and Meetings are:
- Meet other chief residents to begin the process of community building
- Understand the varied roles of the chief resident across disciplines
- Engage personal leadership style and how this impacts the chief resident's role
- Differentiate the responsibilities of leaders vs. managers
- Identify and intervene on the problem residents using tools available at UCSF
- Gain understanding of ways in which chief resident can improve safety and quality of care of patients within their department.
