Seasonal Academy Meetings, 2014-2015
Seasonal, Academy-wide meetings promote the concept of the "educational commons" and the scholarship of teaching and learning. These gatherings provide a forum for informal networking and community building while engaging members in Academy priority- and goal-setting. This is an opportunity to discuss our work as teachers and educators, learn from each other, and promote collaborations across departments, sites and institutions. Members are encouraged to bring non-member guests, unless specified as a members-only meeting. Pre-registration is required. For more information, contact Karen Brent at email@example.com.
Winter Academy Site-based Meetings
Once again we bring the Winter AME Meeting to you! Workshops will be offered at MZ, Parnassus, SFGH, VAMC and Fresno, but each AME member needs to attend only one. At this hands-on activity, you will begin to craft your own EP 2.0, focusing on the Executive Summary and Teaching Role. Bring your laptop (or other portable electronic device), roll up your sleeves, and get a head start (with guidance) on showcasing your accomplishments. We'll distribute resources and advance work in late January. Email Karen Brent to RSVP and for more information.
